Day 1, Depart USA Overnight flight to Rome.

Day 2, Arrive Rome (2nights) On your arrival in Rome you are transferred to your hotel. Tonight enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director.

Day 3, Rome sightseeing & at leisure Today's sightseeing tour includes a visit to St. Peter's Basilica where we see the moving Pieta by Michelangelo. We also have time in St Peter's Square before crossing the River Tiber. Next we stop to visit ancient Rome at the Forum and view the Colosseum. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 4, Rome - Venice (Mestre) Through the hilltop towns of the Umbria and the Apennine Mountains. Then via Bologna to the plains of Veneto and our Venice hotel. Tonight, a gondola serenade is a must. (Buffet breakfast/Dinner)

Day 5, Venice sightseeing – Italian Lakes Our private launch takes us along the Giudecca Canal to St. Mark's basin to admire the Bridge of Sighs, Palladian Church of Santa Maria delle Salute and the Doges' Palace. After a stroll across St. Mark's Square we visit a Murano glass-blowing workshop. Then free time before we head to the Lake District. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)

Day 6, Italian Lakes - Lucerne A scenic drive takes us through the Gotthard range to Lucerne. Here we visit the Lion Monument and have time to walk across the Chapel Bridge. Then free time to take a trip up a mountain for incredible views! (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)

Day 7, Lucerne - Paris (2nights) Via Basel and into France we pass Belfort and remnants of the Maginot Line. We stop to view the Burgundy vineyards at Savigny-Lès-Beaune, before passing Chateauneuf to Paris. Tonight, maybe enjoy dinner in a left bank bistro. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 8, Paris sightseeing & at leisure Our sightseeing tour with a local guide includes a leisurely Seine cruise taking in such impressive sights as Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Pont Alexandre III. Then we ascend to the second level, before driving along the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. The rest of the day is at leisure, perhaps to visit the Louvre or the Palace at Versailles. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 9, Paris - London (2nights) Across the Somme Battlefields and past the Vimy Ridge to the port of Calais. Here we board for our cruise across the Channel to the White Cliffs of Dover and return by coach to London. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 10, London sightseeing Many major sights are included on morning sightseeing. (Continental breakfast)

Day 11, London - USA Bid farewell on our return flight to America. (Continental breakfast)
