Day 1, Depart
Los Angeles Overnight transpacific flight to Bangkok, Thailand.
Day 2, Arrive Bangkok
(2nights) On arrival in Bangkok you're met and transferred to your
hotel. Later after check-in the rest of your day is at leisure to relax or
explore.
Day 3, Bangkok at leisure
Enjoy a full day at leisure in this exciting city. Perhaps visit the
fabulous temples, shops for Thai silk and take a cruise on one of the
native motorboats. Or why not dine out at one of the inviting restaurants
in this vibrant city? (Breakfast)
Day 4, Bangkok - Hanoi
(2nights) This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to
Hanoi *, Vietnam. On arrival we are transferred to our hotel. The rest of
the day is at leisure.

Day 5, Hanoi sightseeing
Our morning sightseeing tour includes highlights such as the Old Quarter,
with its narrow streets and colorful local markets, the Opera House, the
One Pillar Pagoda plus Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, where the nation's leader
lies in state. This city is one of the oldest and most charming in Asia,
and apart from its traditional Vietnamese architecture, there's a French
Quarter with grand French colonial villas and broad boulevards lined with
sandalwood trees and coffee houses. Tonight, we'll enjoy the fascinating
water-puppets show, an art form unique to Vietnam traditionally passed
down through generations from father to son. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 6, Hanoi - Haiphong
We follow the modern freeway to the coastal city of Haiphong. Here our
sightseeing tour includes visits to the Du Hang Pagoda, and other sights
of the downtown "Old Quarter". (Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 7, Haiphong - Halong
Bay Cruise - Hanoi This morning it's a fun ride by pedicab to the
bustling port. Here we board our Modern jetfoil for the exciting ride to
the Halong Bay, with its thousand of limestone islands, amongst which we
will cruise by traditional wooden junk. We enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on
board before our return cruise to Haiphong. Later, we drive back to Hanoi.

Day 8, Hanoi - Hue
Today we transfer to the airport for our morning flight to Hue. On
arrival, we visit the ornate mausoleums of the former emporers Tuduc and
Khai Dinh. Later, we visit the Old Citadel, palace of the former Imperial
family. Next, enjoy a highlight cruise along the Perfumed River to the
picturesque. Thein Mu Pagoda. We overnight at our riverside hotel.

Day 9, Hue - HoiAn -
China Beach This morning we drive over the scenic 'Pass of the
Clouds', historic dividing line between North and South Vietnam, to HoiAn.
En route we visit the Cham Museum, with relics of an empire long past, and
whose only remains are their impressive sculptures; the Marble Mountains,
Literally made of solid marble. We find at the foot of these mountains
several small villages where the locals make a living by selling marble
sculptures at very low prices - perfect souvenirs! HoiAn is truly an
architectural and cultural treasure where things have changed little from
the 17th century. In the afternoon we enjoy a walking tour of the sights
of HoiAn. Our overnight is at a luxurious resort on the famed China Beach.

Day 10, HoiAn - Ho Chi
Minh City (Saigon) (3nights) Enjoy a morning tour to My Son, where the
capital of the once great Champa Kingdom stood. The chams, who originally
came from India and were Hindus, were the rulers of large areas of central
Vietnam amid the 2nd and 15th centuries. Then your afternoon is at leisure
for more exploration, bargain hunting or lounging on the nearby beach.
Later we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
On our arrival, we are transferred to our hotel in the heart of the city,
for the first of our three-night stay.

Day 11, Ho Chi Minh City
- CaoDai Temple - Cu Chi Tunnels Today's first stop is a visit to the
unique CaoDai Temple where we witness the midday mass of this most
colorful and intriguing religion. Then we discover the underground Cu Chi
Tunnels, fighting base for the Vietcong, truly a day full of moving and
emotional experiences. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 12, Ho Chi Minh
sightseeing & at leisure Ho Chi Minh is a modern, bustling city
still possessing much of its historic past. Our sightseeing tour this
morning includes the French style Cathedral, Cholon Chinese markets and
the Reunification Palace, formerly the Presidential Palace. Your afternoon
is free for bargain hunting or why not visit one of the old colonial
hotels for afternoon tea? (Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 13, Ho Chi Minh City
(Saigon) - Bangkok Today we bid farewell to Ho Chi Minh as we transfer
to the airport for our return flight to Bangkok*. (Breakfast)

Day 14, Bangkok - Los
Angeles Time to bid farewell before you transfer to the airport for
your return flight to Los Angeles. (Breakfast)
