Le Sirenuse is an 18th century palazzo, originally the summer
home of the Marchesi Sersale. During World War II the family
moved form Naples to Positano to avoid the air bombings. As a
result they spent four years in Positano and gradually fell in
Love with the village. In 1951 when the war ended they decided
to convert their summer house into the small luxury Hotel it is
today, decorating it with 18 C furniture and objects d’art.
During the years efforts were concentrated on achieving the
highest standards of luxury while maintaining the character and
features of a family home. In the 70s Le Sirenuse joined
"The Leading Hotels of the World" and have been a
proud member ever since.
