Day 1 to 6: Agios Nikolaos: arrival at the Heraklion Airport. Pick up your car directly at the airport. Transfer by car to Agios Nikolaos (50 Minutes) to the "Havania Apartments***" (or similar). The complex is just 2km/1.3 mile from the famous picturesque harbor in the center of Agios Nikolaos, these well maintained apartments sit right on the sea front with a mesmerizing view of the beautiful bay of Mirabello. The nearest small sandy beach is only 100 meters away, reached by a little footpath. This well kept beach has been awarded with the European Blue Flag. The complex facilities for everyone's use include a swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas, snack bar, table tennis, billiards, games room, barbecue area and a reception where safety deposit boxes are available for rent. There's a pretty grassy meadow overlooking the sea, with olive trees and flowers, which's perfect for peaceful sunbathing. Rooms are cleaned daily, with bed linen and towels changed twice weekly. All of the apartments have the added benefit of air conditioning (at an extra charge).

Day 7 to 12: Stavromenos / Rethymno: transfer by car to Stavromenos (13 Km/8 miles from Rethymno, 2 hours driving from Agios Nikolaos) at Ekavi Apartments*** (or similar). This complex is situated on the beach and it's composed of prettily decorated apartments and studios. Within the large carefully tended grounds is a swimming pool and snack bar, whilst inside there's a bar and reception. The 3 types of apartment each have a  kitchenette, shower/wc and balcony with a sea view.
