Day 1, Anaheim at Leisure On your arrival at Los Angeles Airport you are transferred by shuttle service to your Anaheim tour hotel.

Day 2, Anaheim at Leisure Today, why not discover the secrets of movie-making on an optional full day excursion to Universal Studios Hollywood?

Day 3, Anaheim at Leisure This morning we tour Los Angeles seeing Sunset Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, the ' Walk of Fame' and famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Then we travel towards the Pacific Coast for a stop in the Mediterranean-style town of Santa Barbara, before continuing to the delightfully Danish town of Solvang. We stay overnight in Santa Maria.

Day 4, Santa Maria - San Francisco Today we visit Carmel with time to browse. Then we journey along 17 Mile Drive with spectacular coastal views. On through Monterey to San Francisco. Tonight, why not join an optional walking tour and dinner in Chinatown?

Day 5, San Francisco Sightseeing We start the day with a tour of the "City by the Bay". We visit Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square and Ghiradelli Square. We also take in the sights from Twin Peaks viewpoint. Then we enjoy a cruise across the bay to Alcatraz Island for our walking tour with audio narration.

Day 6, San Francisco - Mammoth Lakes (or Fresno*) Today we head across the Central Valley to the Sierra Nevada mountains. This afternoon we visit Yosemite National Park and tour the valley floor, with views of El Capitan and Half Dome, as well as Yosemite Falls (in season). Then we cross the Tioga Pass (3000 m) en route to Mammoth Lakes.

*When the Tioga Pass is closed for motorcoach travel we stay in Fresno at the Four Points by Sheraton.

Day 7, Mammoth Lakes (or Fresno *) - Las Vegas We leave the mountain country behind and cross the desert of Southern California to exciting Las Vegas. Two nights and an entire full day to explore and play! This evening, perhaps join our optional tour of Las Vegas by Night?

Day 8, Las Vegas at Leisure The day is free to spend time by the pool, at the tables or shopping. Optional excursions will be available (how about a helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon?) And don't forget about the world-famous shows!

Day 9, Las Vegas Departure Our tour ends today at check-out time from the hotel. Please make your own way to the airport.
