Day 1, Anaheim at Leisure On your arrival at Los Angeles Airport, you are transferred by shuttle service to your Anaheim tour hotel. After Checking in, the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore at your own pace.

Day 2, Anaheim at Leisure Enjoy a day relaxing by the pool or take the opportunity to discover the secrets of the movie-making on an optional full day excursion to Universal Studios Hollywood! Take the tram tour of the studio back lots, and be amazed by daring stunt shows and adorable animals actors. Don't miss the thrilling 'Jurassic Park' and 'The Terminator 2-3D' rides.

Day 3, Anaheim - Santa Maria This morning we see Sunset Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, the
' Walk of Fame ' in Hollywood, and try out the footprints at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Then we travel up The Pacific Coast to stop in historic Santa Barbara. Now we visit the delightfully Danish town of Solvang, where we have time to explore before continuing to Santa Maria.

Day 4, Santa Maria - San Francisco Traveling north today we visit Carmel with time to browse through some of the boutiques and galleries. Then we enjoy one of the most spectacular stretches of California coastline as we travel along 17 Mile Drive, Sights include the Lone Cypress, Seal Rock, as well as views of famous golf courses. Now on through Monterey to San Francisco. Tonight, why not join an optional walking tour and dinner in Chinatown?

Day 5, San Francisco Sightseeing We start the day with a tour of the 'City by the Bay'. We visit, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, and Ghiradelli Square. Then we enjoy a ferry cruise across the bay for a walking tour of Alcatraz Island complete with audio narration detailing firsthand accounts of life on 'The Rock'.

Day 6, San Francisco - Mammoth Lakes (or Fresno*) We head across the Central Valley to the Sierra Nevada mountains. This afternoon is devoted to Yosemite National park. Here we see the rock formations of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Yosemite falls (in season). Then we ascend the Tioga Pass on our way to the alpine village of Mammoth Lakes and our hotel.

Day 7, Mammoth Lakes (or Fresno*) - Las Vegas We leave the mountain country behind and cross the desert of Southern California to exciting Las Vegas. This evening is at leisure, perhaps join a tour of Las Vegas by night to enjoy the amazing architecture and dazzling lights displays?

Day 8, Las Vegas at Leisure The day is free to go on a shopping spree, try your luck at the casinos, or enjoy the desert climate by the pool! There are also some terrific optional tours available today which your Tour Director can arrange for you. Perhaps take a thrilling helicopter ride from the 'Strip' into the Grand Canyon, or maybe enjoy a cabaret and cocktail show at one of the famous showrooms tonight?

Day 9, Las Vegas - Bryce Canyon This morning we follow the Virgin River upstream into Utah. We visit Zion National Park with its spectacular red rock formations. Then to Bryce Canyon where we see finger-like spires the size of office buildings, called 'hoodoos'. Tonight maybe enjoy an optional 'cowboy cookout and hoedown'?

Day 10, Bryce Canyon - Grand Canyon This morning we drive through ever changing landscapes into the state of Arizona. We cross the Colorado River and visit Glen Canyon Dam before heading into the Navajo Indian Reservation. This afternoon is devoted to the Grand Canyon. We drive along the South Rim with several stops for photos (weather permitting).

Day 11, Grand Canyon - Phoenix Today we descend the Kaibab Plateau via Oak Creek Canyon to the town of Sedona, set amidst towering red cliffs. We also visit the ancient cliff dwellings of Montezuma Castle. Then we continue to Phoenix. Our hotel is next to a large mall with shopping and restaurants.

Day 12, Phoenix - San Diego The state flower of Arizona is the Giant Saguaro Cactus and we see plenty of them around Phoenix. Now it's across the Colorado River and on to San Diego, with an orientation tour on arrival. Later, why not join an optional Harbor Cruise this afternoon? It takes us past historic ships, luxury homes and through the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

Day 13, San Diego at Leisure A day at leisure, or perhaps enjoy an optional excursion to SeaWorld, home of Shamu and Baby Shamu, or cross the border and bargain for souvenirs, colorful blankets and silver jewelry in Tijuana, Mexico?

Day 14, San Diego - Los Angeles Departure This morning we travel back to Anaheim for those passengers who wish to extend their stay. Then we continue to Los Angeles Airport where our tour ends at approximately 2:00pm. (Flights should not be scheduled before 4:30pm).
