Restored House
This carefully restored
old building, formerly a storehouse, dates from 1890 and is situated
direc tly by the sea and near a sandy beach, some 2 km west of the centre
of Rethymno. There is a courtyard, with a small swimming pool/Jacuzzi of
25sqm in size, and a large sun terrace with views of Rethymno. Facilities
include a reception, breakfast room, bar, and a taverna offering menu a la
Carte. Each maisonette (70sqm in size) is pleasantly furnished with
traditional wooden fittings and is suitable for 2-4 people. The ground
floor consists of a living room with one sofa bed and kitchenette, and
shower or bath/WC with hairdryer. Upstairs there is a sleeping gallery
with either a double bed or two or three single beds, and large windows
offering wonderful sea views or views over the neighbourhood. The
maisonettes have telephone, satellite TV, and the price includes also air
conditioning and breakfast. Cleaning takes place every day and towels and
bed linen are changed every three days. The nearest shops and tavernas are
about 200 metres away, and the bus stop with a regular service to Rethymno
can be found 50 metres away.
