With the beautiful large sandy beach only a 200 metres stroll away, this is an ideal and  peaceful spot on the rugged and unspoilt far western coast of Crete, in which to thoroughly unwind and enjoy a simple and relaxing holiday. The owners of Doma are charming and hospitable, and their gardens are arranged within two buildings, each of two storey and surrounded by very spacious gardens with a variety of flowering plants, and shrubs. The nearest taverna is only 50 metres away, but the nearest super market is about 3 km distance, and further tavernas and a few shops can be found in the village of Platanos, about 5 km away, so a car is recommended.

There are 3 different kinds of accommodation, as follows:

A: Two studios, 25 sqm in size, suitable for 2-3 people, with a bed/living room with twin beds and a sofa bed, kitchenette, shower/wc and either a balcony or veranda with sea views. One studio is on the ground floor, and one is on the first floor.

B: Six apartments, 32 sqm in size, for 2-4 people, with one bedroom with a double bed, a kitchenette/dining area with two sofa beds, shower/wc, and a balcony or veranda with sea views. Three of the apartments are on the ground floor and three are on the first floor.

C: Two apartments, 42 sqm in size, for 4-6 people, with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin, kitchenette/dining area with two sofa beds, shower/wc and a balcony with sea views. These apartments are on the first floor.

Romantika House** (Phalassarna)  4 Apartments

Prettily surrounded with a colorful garden, of 1000 sqm, only 400 metres from the beautiful sandy beach, the Romantika House, built in a raised position, has splendid far reaching views over the clear sea, the urrounding mountains and the majestic expanse of Phalassarna bay. The villa has a vine covered yard with garden seating and a barbecue for the use of quests. The apartments are simple but practically and comfortably furnished. Each is about 30 sqm in size, suitable for 2 to 3 people and has a bedroom with twin beds, a living room, kitchenette and a sofa bed, shower/wc and either balcony or patio with views of the sea and of the surrounding countryside. It is about 200 metres to the nearest taverna and shops can be found in the village of Platanos, which is about 4 km away. The friendly owners live in the same building and are happy to assist with any queries. This is an ideal spot for those who seek a simple, restful and quiet holiday close to the sea. A car is recommended.
