traditional style with stone floors have 2 kinds of accommodation.
A: Four studios for 2-3 people,
with a double stone built bed and a sofa bed, kitchenette, shower/wc and
balcony with sea views.
B: Two apartments for 4 people,
with two twin bedded rooms. There is a kitchenette, shower/wc and a
balcony leading from one of the bedrooms, which offers the possibility of
a romantic dining area. These apartments are all furnished in pleasing
pastel colours.
The
nearest beach is just 80 metres away and the small supermarket just a
40-metre stroll.
Niki’s
House**+ (Loutro) 1 House
This
well cared for traditional family home sits on one of the highest
positions in the village of Loutro. The entrance is via the front patio,
with its potted plants, and this leads into a spacious living room/
kitchen with a dining area and a sofa bed. Also on the ground floor is a
bedroom with twin beds, and windows onto the patio. Upstairs is a hall, a
sitting area and a veranda with splendid panoramic views over the village
and the bay. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, one
with a double
bed and a single bed, and one with twin beds. All three bedrooms have
their own private bathroom with shower/wc. There is a large patio with
patio furniture, which offers fabulous views over the bay. This is an
ideal house for 7-8 people,
with the beach just 70 metres away down some narrow village lanes and
flights of steps, passing the tavernas and a small shop on the way.
Hotel
Porto Loutro** (Loutro) 18 Rooms & 4 Studios
In
the centre of the picturesque bay, close to the landing point for the
boats, the Hotel Porto Loutro,
charmingly painted in traditional
blue and white, warmly welcomes its visitors. The owners, Alison who is
English, and her Greek husband Stavros
have many years of experience taking care of the needs of their guests in
either the beachside hotel or their other hotel which sits some 200 metres
away at the far end of the bay. Both have unforgettable views. Each
property has a bar, breakfast area and sun terrace where apart from
breakfast you can enjoy snacks and drinks while you sit and watch the
peaceful scene during the day, or sip a glass of wine while enjoying the
beautiful sunsets. Shops and tavernas are an easy stroll away.
A: There are eighteen tasteful and comfortable double rooms, for 2-3
people (children must be over 6 years old), with an extra bed for a
third person, which are well furnished in a modern style and each has a
shower/wc ensuite and a balcony, most of which have sea views.
B: There are four larger sized studios for 2 or 3 people (children must be over 6 years old), on the ground
floor, which have a bed/living room. There is a double bed, seating area
and a sofa bed within the living area, a kitchenette, shower/wc and a
large shared terrace with patio furniture and really wonderful sea views.
